Ellen, our Marketing Manager, has recently become a big fan of a matcha latte - especially a blueberry one. All of the health benefits of matcha but with a tastier flavour!
Here she shares her very easy recipe to re-create her favourite high-street Blueberry Matcha Latte, that can be enjoyed hot or iced.
Ingredients
1tsp high quality matcha powder
2tbsp blueberry syrup (bought or home made works!)
200ml oat milk of choice
If having iced:
50ml water
Ice to preference (cubes, not pebbled or crushed)
Method
- For an iced Matcha Latte, add your matcha powder to the water in a milk frother, or using a hand held frother, whisk, or bamboo matcha whisk (depending how much you care about your matcha!) to bloom the matcha properly. If you're having it warm, then do the same but add the matcha powder straight into your warm milk. Whisk/froth your matcha and milk/water until it's completely blended and started to froth on top.
- In a glass or mug add your syrup and milk and stir until mixed together, then add your ice if you're serving it cold.
- Pour the matcha mixture on top and admire the pretty colour gradient before stirring together.
- Enjoy!
